A new beta for Windows 10 with a redesigned Calendar application

Even if we talk a little less about it, Microsoft continues to prepare the next versions of Windows 10. It must be said that if the Redmond firm respects its annual schedule, a new version should be deployed within two months. And that’s good news since a beta is available on the Fast Ring, for Windows 10 testers. Among the flood of improvements and patches, the Calendar application is getting a major overhaul.

A new look for a new life?

The new version of Calendar was introduced in Windows 10 build 19564.1000. The application benefits from a new interface with about thirty different themes so that users can customize it to their liking.

The creation of an event has also been made easier and the monthly view also receives changes. In an accompanying note, Microsoft clarifies that these are only the first steps before other more important modifications to improve the Calendar application. Testers can also return to the old interface with a single click if they wish.

If you are interested in discovering and testing this version of Windows 10, please note that it is necessary to register for the Insider program. We strongly advise you not to install a beta version on your main computer. Indeed, although they are generally quite stable, hardware and software compatibility problems may occur and disrupt your use.
