“Warzone” weighs quite heavy, whether on console, PC or Mac. We can only recommend that you make space on your hard drive now. If you already have “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare”, you will have a download ranging from 8 to 22GB.

How to play “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare – Warzone” on Mac?

Install Windows 10 on MacOS

One of the ways to play “Warzone” on Mac is to use virtualization. This will allow you to simulate a Windows environment on your MacOS machine. For that, you can equip yourself with a choice of software like Parallels Desktop or VirtualBox.

  • Parallels Desktop is a paid solution that allows you to easily start the installation of a Windows environment on MacOS. The solution is very effective since it allows you to easily juggle between your natural MacOS environment and your Windows virtual environment.
  • VirtualBox is, conversely, a free open source solution. It allows you to create a virtual environment to install Windows, provided that you have the Windows 10 ISO.

Another solution is also to use Boot Camp software, a MacOS native utility for installing Windows 10. Again, you will need the ISO of the operating system in question.

Whether you are using Parallels Desktop, VirtualBox or Boot Camp, you will need a working Windows license key in order to be able to use the environment beyond its trial period.

Play “Warzone” remotely from another machine

Another possible solution to enjoy “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare – Warzone” on Mac is to use another machine that can run the game. The title of Activision is available on PS4, Xbox One and PC. You will have to look at the side of applications like Microsoft Remote Desktop or Teamviewer. The “Remote Play” option on PS4 is also possible.

Use cloud solutions

If you are a Mac user, you have several cloud gaming / computing options that allow you to easily simulate a Windows environment.

Among these, we find in particular Shadow, an excellent paid cloud computing offer. The latter allows you to enjoy your games and applications with graphics pushed to the maximum. However, you will need a solid internet connection.

Parsec is also a viable and free solution. It allows you to easily find your favorite games to enjoy them in the cloud.

So basically you are playing it in windows and not Mac, BTW I would use run it through parrells because it does not use full power of your machine. Run it through any other software then you are running two operating systems so best to use bootcamp for windows and release the all the power

Seems that running blizzard => warzone on parallels (version 15) has a GUI problem because parallels uses its own adapter for video not the Intel or any local video driver.

I tried to open and it gives me a DirectX error but mine is updated on Parallels VM.
