How to access the beta of Valorant, the FPS of Riot Games?
Publié leAnnounced with great fanfare for the 10 years of League of Legends, Valorant is a competitive FPS that draws heavily on Counter Strike. The game, scheduled for summer 2020, is already preparing its first series of beta tests and we will explain how to access it in preview.
Play Valorant in preview
If Valorant is only scheduled for summer 2020, several selected people have already been able to experience the game at the premises of Riot Games. The next step is a closed beta which will take place from April 7, 2020.
To register for the closed beta of Valorant, and hope to be drawn, several tasks must be completed. These will ask you to invest a little bit in the game to come, or to have a simple Riot Games account.
Register on the Valorant website
First, go to the official Valorant website to connect to it using your Riot Games account (or create one for the occasion). If you have an account for another Riot Games game (like League of Legends or Legends of Runeterra), you can use the same credentials.
Once connected to the site, you already have a chance to be drawn to join the beta! But it is still possible to further increase your chances.

Link your Riot Games account to Twitch
Watching streams is an integral part of the life of a game today. A track followed en masse on the networks is more likely to be a success and to attract new regular players. This is why Riot is counting on you to make its spectators a little bigger to come to Valorant!
For an additional chance to participate in the closed beta, connect to the Valorant site and go at this address.
You can then link your Riot Games account to your Twitch account (or create one if it isn’t already).
Watch the others play!
Last way to increase your chances of participating in the beta: watch the lucky ones who will play Valorant!
Once the beta phase is launched on April 07, watching streams of Valorant on Twitch will increase your chances of accessing beta. Riot Games had already used this technique for the first beta accesses of Legends of Runeterra.
Opening multiple streams at the same time does not count, however, since only your Riot Games account is taken into account. Leave a stream of Valorant in the background on your PC and pray for your precious beta access.
If Riot Games proceeds in the same way as with Runeterra, access to the first closed beta of the game should guarantee access to the next beta to come before the game is released this summer.
