Live : Watch the OnePlus 8 Series LaunchPublié le
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, many events (conferences, trade shows, product launches) have been postponed, cancelled or converted into video conferences. This is also the case for the OnePlus 8 presentation. The launch of the new smartphones will indeed take place on April 14, but this time there will be no big presentation in a room in London, New York or Paris. The event will simply be broadcast live.
THE ONEPLUS 8 SERIES LIVE PRESENTATION
The OnePlus 8 Series launch will take place on Tuesday, April 14 at 5 p.m. in France, or 11 a.m. in North America. It will take place online and you will be able to follow it directly on our page.
WHAT WE KNOW ABOUT THE ONEPLUS 8 SERIES
OnePlus will be unveiling more smartphones this year. In addition to OnePlus 8, the manufacturer will offer OnePlus 8 Pro and OnePlus 8 Z for the first half of 2020 alone.
The OnePlus 8 features a curved screen and says goodbye to the notch. This time, the selfie sensor is located directly on the display in the upper left corner. OnePlus therefore gives way to the sirens of the perforated screen. The manufacturer has apparently used the same materials as on its previous flagships. The 160.2 x 72.9 x 8.1 mm frame of the OnePlus 8 is therefore covered with a layer of glass on the back.
The smartphone has three sensors on its rear side.
The OnePlus 8 Pro is very similar to the OnePlus 8, with the difference that it is a little longer. It measures 165 x 74.4 x 8.8 mm and also has a perforated display. On the back there are three sensors in one module and a fourth sensor on the left.
As for the OnePlus 8 Lite (or OnePlus Z), it would be the brand’s first mid-range smartphone since the OnePlus X released in October 2015. The OnePlus Z would have a screen between 6.4 and 6.5 inches. On the back, OnePlus Lite would be equipped with at least two photo sensors. This information is to be taken with tweezers.
Indeed, on the first images posted by leakers like @OnLeaks, we could see 3D renderings showing a smartphone with two cameras. During the first week of January, new elements appeared and it seems that the smartphone is equipped with a triple photo sensor on the back. At the front, still no notch, but just a small hole for the photo sensor dedicated to the selfies.
