Despite all the efforts of the Mozilla Foundation to enhance Firefox’s protection features, the program still suffers from some weaknesses. A team of third-party developers decided to fix this by offering Librefox, a more secure version of Firefox. Librefox is not a fork, it is no more and no less than a modification of Firefox made thanks to a script.
This version of the browser does not include the various telemetry options of the browser and does not have a tool to update the software automatically.
With regard to its key features, the software offers an advanced ad blocker, a tool to inform the user whether or not the visited site uses a secure protocol, a dark mode, and many options to stop ad tracking.
Warning, in Librefox installatn you will lose all passwords saved in Firefox.
