DesktopShelves is an application for Mac designed to save desktop space. This software creates virtual shelves to store documents and other commonly used items. The appearance of these shelves can be reviewed and modified by the user to give them a more personalized look. For example, the user is free to define the spacing of the elements himself, or to hide certain elements that are rarely used. The virtual shelves can be reduced or stretched to contain about twenty elements. It is also possible to hide them or put them in the foreground.
DesktopShelves can be activated by a simple keyboard shortcut, making Mac content more accessible. The user slides and deposits the elements of his choice or that he uses frequently on the shelves. By passing the cursor over the icon of the document or folder, he will be able to see its content or properties. DesktopShelves makes it easy to run applications from the shelves. He also partners with Finder to find items from Finder’s context menu and create shelves for them.
Other operations are added to the features of DesktopShelves to include the ability to select, drag and drop texts on the shelf. This particular tool allows you to create TXT or RTF documents directly.
