Apple also wants its share of the cake in the SVOD world. The Californian giant launched Apple Tv+ on November 1, 2019. This is a subscription video-on-demand service. Apple TV+ is not an application, but rather a component of the Apple TV application available on Apple TV box and iOS. However, Apple does not focus exclusively on its Apple devices. Indeed, Apple TV+ is also available on PCs, Roku boxes and Samsung Smart TVs.
