Google is therefore offering us a new application, tested on its Pixel and Android One phones and available to everyone, that supports our digital well-being (Well-Being)!
This application includes a whole set of tools that will allow you to better manage the time spent consuming videos, social networks, websites on your smartphone, not to save money but so that this time does not take over your rest time in real life.
How does it work, Digital Wellness?
In this program, there is a time manager on the applications installed on the phone or tablet: Each time you open Netflix, Twitter, Clash of Clans or the Logitheque application, BEN records the time spent and keeps track of the accounts. But that’s not all, because the number of notifications, the rate of switching the device on and off, and other data are observed. Once collected, these figures are available at any time.
Then, the application will allow you to better manage your time: Reduce the number of times you access an application, determine the frequency of unlocking the device, and set a timer according to your favorite applications that will allow you to significantly reduce the time spent on Youtube or Tinder.
A night mode for better sleep
As you know, at night we are tempted to look at the phone at the slightest notification and the bright screens disturb the sleep. BEN will modify the display to make it softer and also offer to switch to night mode, a mode where you will no longer be required during your sleep time. A challenge but which in the long run should bear fruit since your rest time and habits will no longer encroach on your real daily life, the one that is far from the screens and that contributes to your happiness.
