TaskRabbit is gradually being deployed and its acquisition by Ikea should facilitate its integration in more and more cities. This online service offers the user a multitude of job applications, among which he can choose a “Tasker”, who will be able to carry out minor tasks for him.

In concrete terms, TaskRabbit provides access to a network of independent workers (who can register directly from the platform), who can carry out repairs, assemble furniture and supports, move heavy objects or redecorate. The platform presents several profiles and depending on the task and the location, the customer will be able to make his choice very easily.

The site also allows you to “book” a worker or tasker in advance, in which case the availability filter will adapt accordingly. Be careful, the service is not yet available everywhere and some partner brands should offer to access it after an order, as the Swedish network of self-assembly furniture stores already does in some regions.
