Comparing your numbering system with others is in a way an additional way of understanding how your own system works in order to better understand it: random numbers drawn by the computer, in the range chosen by the child, are proposed to him/her so that he/she can write them in one of the two scripts; to work in class on the same Roman numbers with all the students, use the “File/Print” menu. A sheet with 90 numbers per group of 10 will be printed + a sheet with solutions. All you have to do is photocopy the first one in several copies. It is a thoughtful calculation exercise that appeals to children.
