Computamus allows a child to acquire the basics of arithmetic It is based on learning arithmetic, concentration and autonomy The following points are covered: – learning tables and the four basic operations – arranging numbers – reading or setting the time – transcribing numbers into numbers or words in several languages – supervising a number – determining the equality between two expressions Objectives: For the child: – discovering how to learn arithmetic from CP to CM2. – allow effective training without noise disturbance – present screens identical to large A4 sheets of paper with handwritten handwriting – the usefulness of a clear, clean, correctly calligraphed presentation; this will imitate visual memorization – teach the child the mechanism of operations and rigour – allow him to see his progress; he will have access to success reports indicating the timetable for his work. – the possibility of assessing and evaluating the duration of the exercises’ resolution – making it autonomous and motivating it by setting objectives – providing it with elements for comparison with a good level model pupil – For adults or teachers: – easy configuration – simplified creation of exercises with correction and possibly automatic notation – numerous reports for easy follow-up of one or more children – printing of the exercises and reports. Other features: – The work area adapts to all screen resolutions from 800*600 onwards – Use of colours for a clear presentation (black: statements, blue: work done, red error and appreciations, green correction) – Corrections are made at the number level and not at the number level – Depending on the configuration, a lineage help can help the user in the calculation – The animations show the execution of the operations.
