Heraldic Research Software
Heraldry: the software gives access to a database of 400,000 blasphemers from more than 180 armorials, on France and Europe (for 80,000 families).
This database is accessible in alphabetical order by name and by armorial (region and particular author).
The main armorials are presented here: Rietstap in particular.
Another database of the 125,807 original drawings from the Armorial Général de France de Hozier of 1696 is accessible by surname, class and subclass (searches for 65,000 drawings) and also includes legal entities contained in the registers (bakers, lawyers, etc. – 587 trades for example are cited as blasonnements).
EURALNETS allows access to the databases without having to pay for each package (13532 text codes and 10484 drawing codes) accessible from the website www.euraldic.com.
Version 3 provides access to Classes (68,000 drawings) and Communities (14,000 drawings).
To carry out research on blasonnements, it is preferable to use the H_THEQUE software (see sheet).
