LibreCAD

LibreCAD is a computer-aided design software that allows you to model in two dimensions (2D) and to create plans and technical documentation for the construction. You don’t have to worry about the cost of the software since it is free and therefore free.

The program is translated into more than 20 languages including French. Its fairly basic interface adapts to your needs whether they are in the fields of architecture or mechanics.

However, like most free or paid CAD software, its use is not without its challenges. LibreCAD supports layers and group creation functionality for optimal editing of the different elements of your projects. The software is compatible with Autodesk’s DXF and DWG formats. Note that it is also possible to export your creations in vector (.eps) and bitmap formats (JPEG and PNG).
