If you have lost the password to unlock the Sheet(s) from your Excel files, you no longer have to worry! The XLSheetUnlocker is here to help you. This small tool can remove Sheet protection from any Excel file (versions 97-2003, 2007 and 2010) in seconds.

The operation of this tool is simple:

  1. Open the Filing Cabinet(s) that contains the Sheet(s) to be unlocked
  2. Open the XLSheetUnlocker
  3. In both lists, choose the Filing Cabinet and the Sheet(s) to be unlocked
  4. Click on “Unlock selection”.
  5. It’s done – don’t forget to save the unlocked Filing Cabinet

If you open another Filing Cabinet to process, you must click on the “Refresh Available Filing Cabinet List” button in the XLSheetUnlocker to make it appear on the list….

Who would have thought it was that simple, right? But since everyone forgets a password, a small tool can be essential. I developed it because I too didn’t remember the password for a binder that I absolutely had to change – and then I thought it might help other Excel users.

For the moment, the tool is available in French and English.
